Frázová slovesa (phrasal verbs) jsou jednou z nejcharakterističtějších a zároveň nejnáročnějších vlastností anglického jazyka. Vznikají spojením základního slovesa a jedné nebo více částic (předložky nebo příslovce). Výsledný výraz má zpravidla zcela nový, přenesený význam, který nelze odvodit z překladu jednotlivých slov.

Jak frázová slovesa fungují?

🧠 Tipy jak se frázová slovesa učit

  1. 📚 Učte se je v kontextu – vždy s příkladovou větou, nikdy jen jako izolovaný výraz.
  2. 🎨 Skupinujte podle základního slovesa – pokud znáte jedno, ostatní odvodíte snadněji.
  3. 🔄 Sledujte, jak se mění s různými částicemi – go on, go off, go through, go away – každé jiný svět.
  4. 🎬 Koukejte na filmy/seriály bez titulků – frázová slovesa se v mluvené angličtině vyskytují každých několik sekund.
  5. ✍️ Pište vlastní věty – zapište si dnes 3 frázová slovesa a použijte je v celé větě o svém životě.
  6. 🃏 Kartičky a opakování – nejlépe funguje metoda spaced repetition (SRS), třeba Anki.
